Morris Eugene Montgomery, died March 25, 2014 in Memphis, Tennessee. He was born in Sand Springs, OK on July 14, 1938 to M.K. & Bertha Montgomery. He was preceded in death by his daughter Terry Young, and his parents. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Birdie Peacock Montgomery; daughter, June Walton (John) of Memphis; sons, William Montgomery and Kenneth Montgomery both of Memphis; five granddaughters; Patricia Nowak, Melinda Young, Juliette Walton, Jessica Walton, Johnnie Gail Walton, two great granddaughters; Rachel Young and Savannah Young, sister Clara Lightsey of Biscoe, AR; son-in-law, David Young of Millington, TN; nephews, Glen Lightsey (Tonya) of Des Arc, AR; Phil Lightsey (Josette) of Biscoe, AR; niece, Pam Chandler; great niece, Kelsey Lightsey; great nephews, Dalton Chandler, Robert Lightsey; Josh Lightsey; and a great-great nephew, Trace Lightsey. The family will receive friends at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home on Saturday, March 29, 2014 from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. Funeral Services will begin at 2:00 p.m. A private interment will be at West TN Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
