Mildred Jean Yarbro Fleming, 86, of Lakeland, TN passed away at home on Thursday, January 19, 2023. She was born May 7, 1936 to Walter and Dora Yarbro in Covington, TN and raised in Mason, TN. She was also crowned Miss Tipton County in 1951. During the seventies and early eighties, she was employed with Sears Crosstown.

Survivors include her children, Stephen Huggins (Patty) of Olive Branch, MS and Sharon Huggins Fish (Gary) of Lakeland, TN; granddaughters, Amy Fish Carver (Jeremy) and Ashley Fish Murphy (Chad) both of Bartlett; and three great grandchildren, Canon Carver, Kolby and Kelsey Murphy. She also leaves her sister, Nellie Sue Yarbro Roe of South Carolina.

Ms. Fleming was preceded in death by her brother, David Yarbro; and her sisters, Esther Lee Yarbro Gilliam and Charlotte Yarbro Hignight.

The family will receive friends at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home on Thursday, January 26, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. with the Funeral Service to follow at 2:00 p.m. Internment will be at Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery.

The family requests that memorials be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38104.
