Melvyn Eugene "Andy" Anderson, 72, died Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Memphis. First Class Petty Officer Anderson retired after 20 years with the United States Navy and had been a Senior Technical Writer at Federal Express for over 21 years. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Eva Dolores Anderson of Memphis; two daughters, Tyna Crawford of Lebanon, TN; and Dayna Baker of Atoka, TN; three grandchildren, Kayla Crawford; Garrett Crawford both of Lebanon, TN; and Jessyca Baker of Atoka, TN; siblings include, Dreama Anderson and Kay Rumple both of Greenville, OH; and John Anderson of Rushville, IN. Preceding Mr. Anderson in death are his parents, Donald and Dorothy Louise Anderson, and a sister, Phyllis Moore. The family will receive friends at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home on Friday, August 2, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home.
