Maxine B. Sweeney "Mema"-Age 88 of Millington, TN went to be with the Lord on February 6, 2018 at St. Francis Hospital surrounded by her family, after a long battle with Alzhemier's.  She was born on October 2, 1929 in Joelton, TN to Raybon and Sarah Felts Binkley.  She is preceded in death by her parents; her former husband of 39 years, James Sweeney; daughter, Vicki Carol Sweeney, who passed away at 2 days old; 2 sisters, Kathleen Slayden and Faye Rogers and 3 brothers, Buren Binkley, Cornell Binkley and Billy Wayne Binkley.  Survivors include 3 sons Mike Sweeney (Paulette), Darrell Sweeney (Sherrye) and Kevin Sweeney (Michelle); 1 sister, Sylvia Harris; 8 grandchildren, Vicki Sweeney, Jason Bush, Jenelle Bush, Brandy Reynolds (Mike), Caren Zarolinski (Mat), Lorie Dischner (Joe), Austin Sweeney (Tori) and Victoria Sweeney; 10 great-grandchildren.

Mema loved to cook, work crosswords and jigsaw puzzles and crochet.  Her family would also like to share that even though Alzheimer's took away some memories that her heart and love for her family never changed.

Visitation will be Friday, February 9, 2018 from 12pm until 1pm, with the funeral service at 1pm at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home 6755 Hwy 51 N. Millington, TN 38053.

Interment will take place Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at 1pm at Spring Hill Cemetery, 5110 Gallatin Pike S Nashville, TN 37216.
