Maxine Blankenship, 90, of Gosnell, Arkansas went peacefully to be with our Lord on Feb. 14, 2023.

Maxine was born to Wesley and Ivy Cooner Davis in Bruce, Mississippi and was gifted by God to be reared by Wesley and Winnie Carter Davis after the death of Ivy.   She married and lived most of her life in Memphis then Millington, TN.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Winfred C. Blankenship; son, Winfred Earl Blankenship; grandson, Matthew Blankenship; and great granddaughter, Cassy Colunga; two brothers, Robert Earl and Wesley Davis; and two sisters, Margaret Davis and Linda Garner.

Maxine is survived by her daughter, Karen Priebe (Steve) of Nesbit, MS; Grandson Adam Blankenship (Joanna) of Millington, TN; four siblings, brothers Joe Davis (Cheri) and Donald Davis (Sharon), and sisters Betty Hadden (Lyle), and Brenda Davis, all of Gosnell; two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Her Life will be held Sunday, March 5, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Hernando Baptist Church, in Hernando, MS.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memphis, TN.
