Maureen Josephine Spain, 66, died Monday October 25, 2010 in Memphis, TN. She is survived by her husband: James Spain; daughter: Lisa M. Belk; mother: Josephine Smith; sister: Barbara Nawrocki; grandchildren: Justice A. Meeks, Cydney J. Belk and Azure H. Belk. She was preceded in death by her father: Fred Smith. Visitation will be held at 5 p.m., Thursday October 28, at Our Lady of Sorrows Church on Highway 51 in Frayser, TN, with the Recitation of The Holy Rosary to follow at 7:30 p.m. A Burial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, October 29 at Our Lady of Sorrows. Interment will be in Memphis Memorial Park on Poplar Ave. following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Breast Cancer Awareness.
