Mattie "Geri" Geraldine Middleton Sanders, 82 of Millington passed away June 13, 2025. Geri was born March 15, 1943 in Keener, Missouri to the late Cecil and Ruth Jewell Middleton. Geri was the beloved wife of Bobby Sanders for 53 years. Geri was a homemaker, beloved navy
wife, cherished mother, proud granny and memaw. Geri was an avid collector of many things but especially Barbies and depression glass. Geri could always be found at yard sales and flea markets most weekends and reading books any other time. Geri is survived by her son Jeffrey
Eugene (Lynn) Sanders; grandchildren Ashley Sanders, Amy Sanders, Bobby Sanders, Kailyn Ward, Jacob Anderson; great-grandchildren Shyanne, Adeline, Jada, Zoey, Seth; brother Larry Middleton; sisters Priscilla (Harold) Willard, Lona Woods. Geri is preceded in death by her husband Bobby Sanders; daughter Lisa Posey; her parents Cecil and Ruth Middleton; brothers Lewis Middleton, John Middleton, George Burtchett, Billie Joe Burtchett; sisters Dorotha "Dot" Deason, Verna Baldi, Loretta Middleton.
