MARY JOYCE ARMSTRONG WILSON, 76, passed away peacefully at her home in Lucy, TN on July 1, 2009. She was a member of St. William Catholic Church, a loving wife and devoted mother of five children. She was preceded in death by her parents, Casnor and Inez Armstrong; in-laws, Knute and Helen Wilson; brothers-in-law, Richard, Gary, and Loren Gene Wilson and her two daughters, Theresa Petrakos-Papa (1998) and Tamara Bennett (1997), who lost their battle with breast cancer. Mary leaves to cherish her loving memory; her husband of 57 years, Wayne K. Wilson; a son, Brad Wilson (Laurie) of Collierville, TN; two daughters, Gail Mason (John) of Victoria, TX and Constance Scoggins of Atoka, TN; 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She is survived by siblings, Gaylord Armstrong (Velda) of Fort Smith, Virgil "Sonny" Armstrong (Alice) of Fort Smith, AR, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family extends their appreciation to extended family and friends for their prayers and Odyssey Hospice for their compassionate care. Visitation will be held on July 6, 2009 from 5-8 p.m. at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home. A Catholic Funeral Mass will be held at St. William Catholic Church in Millington, TN on July 7 at 10 a.m., with burial in Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery, 6755 Hwy 51 North, Millington, TN 38053.
