Mary Alice Proctor, 78, formerly of Munford, died suddenly on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at Methodist North Hospital. Mrs. Proctor was a bookkeeper for Cannon & Company Certified Public Accountants for over 30 years. Her hobbies included sewing and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a charter member at Floyd Avenue Church of Christ. The past few weeks she has attended Bartlett Woods Church of Christ with her daughter. Mrs. Proctor is survived by her daughter, Patty Battles (Cordell) of Bartlett; two grandchildren, Matthew Battles of Bartlett; and Justin (Julia) Battles of Nashville; two great grand children, June Battles, and Joe Battles; and a sister, Pat Meyer. Preceding Mrs. Proctor in death was her husband of 56 years, Earl Proctor. The family will receive friends at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home on Thursday, December 20, from 10:00 - Noon. Funeral Services will begin at Noon. Interment will be at Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery. The family requests that memorials be sent to Agape Child and Family Services P. O.
