Mary Ann Morgan, 79 of Memphis, passed away April 30, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.

She is survived by her daughter, Michelle Brock; grandsons, Carson Morgan Brock and Evan Kent Brock; brother-in-laws, Sammy Morgan, Dennis Morgan, Paul Morgan, and Gerald Morgan; special niece, Cheryl Bell; two very special cousins, Owen and Debbie Yarbrough; and a host of loving family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John F. Morgan, Jr.; parents, John Frank and Jennie Loue Butts; brother, Franklin Butts; and sister-in-law, Betty Butts.

Ms. Mary enjoyed her career at University of Tennessee Health Science Center and made many life long friends. She was very strong in her faith and enjoyed going to church activities. As many Memphians do, she loved Elvis Presley. She loved to travel, and got to fulfill her dream of riding in a hot air balloon during a trip to New Mexico.

She loved her many friends and family members; most of all her grandsons, they were the absolute light of her life.
