Mary Anne Mosmeier Breland passed away at Quail Ridge Assisted Living and Memory Care Monday, March 8, 2021, one day before her 87th birthday.

An avid seamstress and gardener, Mary loved her family, her close friends, and her dog, Rascal. Born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana, she was married 63 years to the late Elvin "Bud" Brelandof Millington, Tennessee. A strong and feisty woman who was called "Sarge" by her sons-in-law, Mary worked for many years at United Airlines.

Mary is survived by three daughters, Barbara Washburn (Gary), Ann Scobey (Jon) and Kelly Perry; and six grandchildren, Amy Flickinger (Jason), Josh Scobey (Rachel), Brian Washburn, Chris Scobey (Kristin), Kelsey Perry (Dalton) and Bronson Perry (Dana). She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren: Jaxson Flickinger; Riley Kate and Aubrie Paige Washburn; and Casey Ann, Stella, Mason and Myles Scobey. Mary leaves four sisters-in-law: He len Wyatt, Ruth Powell, Gladys Davis and Louise Hill (Billy); as well as a brother-in-law, David Breland (Dianne); and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Mary also leaves her very best friend, Martha Price (Neil).

In addition to her husband, Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Clara Mosmeier, and a brother, Robert Mosmeier.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 19 , from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home, with graveside service and interment at 10 a.m. in Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and to the Alzheimer's Association.
