Mary Anne Strayhorn Isbell Amerson of Memphis, TN was born on September 20, 1950. She passed away on October 2,2025. She leaves her daughter, Natosha Anne Isbell Witwer, grandson, Alexander Scott Cook, brothers, Richard Scott Strayhorn and James Maurice Strayhorn, step-sons, Brian Harvey Isbell and Jess Damron Isbell, step-daughters, Bethany Shea Isbell Reyer and Jamie Kathleen Isbell Jones, and, her ex-husband, Ronald Alton Isbell, Sr. She joins her son, Ronald Alton Isbell Jr, her parents, Robert Zachariah Strayhorn and Elizabeth Ruth Clement Strayhorn, her brothers, Robert Everett Strayhorn and Johnny Ray Strayhorn and step-daughter, Kendall Michelle Draffin. Mary graduated from Kingsbury High School and took her college classes in Strawberry, CA. She enjoyed her time in Ireland, experiencing her heritage. She was nurse, a nutritionist, and helped many people get over their maladies. She loved animals and always had a kind word for everyone she met. She is loved, greatly missed, and in her faith, goes with grace of God. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to help cover funeral costs.
