Martin  D. Russell, 70, of Millington, TN passed away peacefully at his home on July 6, 2021. Mr. Russell graduated from Westside High School with the class of 1971 where he played football, #72. You could hear his parents and his wife in the stands yelling "hustle, Russell, hustle!".

Martin was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Martha and his parents, John W. and Birdie Lee Rodgers Russell; one brother, John S. Russell; also two great grandchildren.

He is survived bt his sister, Jan Oglesby (David) of Bells, TN; his daughter, Michelle Russell Fultz (Marvin) of Millington; his son, Michael Russell of Memphis; 4 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and one on the way; also a host of nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Martin's favorite bible verse was John 3:16 " For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life".
