Martha "Sunshine" Lee Pakala, 95, of Cordova, TN passed away peacefully at home Tuesday night. Sunnie was born in McKenzie, TN on January 15, 1923. She is preceded in death by her husband, James "Jim" Pakala, her parents Albert and Opal Lee, her sister and brothers and their spouses, Peggy Lee and Ralph Shrader, Doyle and Dorothy Lee, Dudley and Elaine Lee, her niece Alice Gail Lee, her brother and sister in law, John Pakala and Lucille Pakala Watkins. Sunnie is survived by her daughter, Kristhe Lee Pakala of Cordova, her son Jimmy Pakala (Dee) of Las Vegas, NV, her granddaughter Holley V. Dotson (Kevin), her grandson John Pakala, and her great grandsons Dalton James Dotson and James Lindsey Pakala. Sunnie was a lifelong member of Community of Christ Church. Pallbearers for the service will be Robin Van Nieuwenhuyze, Brad Hemby, Kevin Dotson, Neil Shrader, Kenneth Lee and Larry Elrod. Contributions in Sunnie's memory can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Services will be held Saturday July 14 ^th at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home; visitation will be from 9:00 – 11:00am and a graveside service to follow, 6755 Hwy 51 North, Millington, TN, 901-872-3382.
