Martha Maellen Brooks, 91, of Byhalia, MS passed away October 24, 2022.

She is survived by her daughters, Linda Siler, LaWanda Sisco, Mary Ables (Francis), and Dorothy Sugg (Robert); son-in-law, Roger Albert; grandchildren, Gale Sowell, Alan Siler, Candie Wilson, Daniel Ables, Chris Patterson, Ellis Suggs, Robbie Sandifer, Carla Brooks, and Tracie Gatewood; great grandchildren, Jake Sowell, Hadie Sowell, Livie Sowell, Jackson Siler, Austin Wilson, Brianna Ables, Makayla Ables, Ava Ables, Kaitlyn Patterson, Dustin Patterson, and Atley Snyder; and great-great grandchildren, Christian Wilson and Percy Wilson.

She was preceded in death by her husband of over 40 years, Hayden Brooks; one daughter, Ellen Albert; parents, Francis and Mary Massey; her sister, Mary Massey; and two son-in-laws, Ronald Siler and Tim Sisco.

Martha enjoyed doing word puzzles and going "over the hill" to the casino. She loved her family greatly, especially her grandbabies.
