Minister Magnolia Stewart,  85 years of age, passed on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Grace Healthcare Nursing Home. She is a sibling of Erma Lee Robinson, and Vernon Greenleaf, who both preceded her in death, and she is survived by her loving brother A. D. Nelson and sister-in-law Cherry Greenleaf (Vernon Greenleaf [Wife]). In 1948, (age 12) she move with her mother to Chicago Illinois. While in Chicago, Magnolia professed her life to Christ at Liberty Baptist Church where she served as a dedicated and faithful member of the church and to the Lord.  She was the first female to be ordained at Liberty Baptist Church. She enjoyed working in the church, history, museums, traveling, and spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ.  However, she cherished praising the Lord most of all. She has touched the lives of so many with her generosity, kindness, and her unconditional agape love. She was truly loved and will forever be missed by her friends, family, and all who knew her. Magnolia leaves behind to cherish her loving memory Cherry Greenleaf (sister-n-law), along with her niece Sheronda Greenleaf-Gunn (niece) who were also her caretakers, a host of nieces, nephews, other family and faithful church members. The funeral services will take place and burial will be at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home on October 30, 2021 at 10 a.m. with Dr. Stephen P. Walker officiating the Celebration of Life for Minister.
