Lydle Alvin Jones, 99, passed away on Monday, January 16, 2023. He was a beloved father, grandfather, and Christian.

L.A. was one of 11 children born in Henning, TN. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving on the USS Wintle during World War II. He established a respected HVAC business in Memphis, TN, before retiring to Harmontown, MS, to teach his grandchildren how to fish Sardis
Lake. L.A. ultimately settled in Munford, TN, and he was a member of First Baptist Church of Atoka.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe H. and Bertha Gertrude Jones, eight of his brothers and sisters, his wife of 70 years, Margaret Imogene Jones, and his son Ronald Jones.

Survivors include his daughter Vicky McDaniel (Charles), grandson Bradley McDaniel (Katy), granddaughter Kati Boswell (Travis), four great-granddaughters: Reagan, Olivia, Charli, and Maddie, his sisters: Mary Jean Stark and Nona Hill, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
