Luther Roy Overstreet, age 72, of Covington, TN went to be with the Lord on June 8, 2021 at Methodist North Hospital.  Roy was born January 9, 1949 in Rosedale, MS.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Davis and Lottie (Hemphill) Overstreet.  He leaves behind a son, Robert Shannon Overstreet, and 2 grand daughters, 2 sisters, Patricia Paris and husband James, Linda Everett and husband Larry, 2 brothers, Mitch Overstreet and wife Linda, Ricky Overstreet and wife Tonya.  Roy was a retired welder and member of The International Brotherhood of Boilermakers.

Roy was a very talented artist with an ingenious mind. He could create amazing trinkets and drawings from nothing and had a unique sense of humor.

He is loved and will be missed by all that knew him personally.  We know that he is healed and living in Glory by the Grace of God.  No more pain and suffering.
