Lt. Kenneth Sterling Kennedy, 69, died Saturday, January 26, 2013 at his Memphis home. Mr. Kennedy was a 33 year retired Veteran of the Memphis Fire Department. He is also a United States Marine Corps Veteran. His hobbies included genealogy and historical studies, and FOX News. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Mr. Kennedy is survived by his wife of 48 years, Helen Kennedy; three children, Dawn (Tom) Hale of Memphis; Dana (Mark) Reinhardt of Covington; and Kenneth Rusty (Vickie) Kennedy of Portland, TX; and his grandchildren, Kenneth Thomas Hale; Richie Russell; Ryan Russell; Tyler Hale; Ross Russell; Kenneth Rusty Kennedy Jr.; Rylie Russell; Reagan Reinhardt; and Reese Reinhardt. Preceding him in death, are his grandson, Eric Hale, mother, Edna Litton; and four siblings, Margaret Castleberry; Ann Ray; Doris Childers; and Sherry McKenna. The family will receive friends at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Funeral Services begin at Noon Wednesday. Interment will be at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home.
