Lou Carrisoza (29 Forever Young) of Millington, Tennessee passed into eternal rest on April 12, 2017.
She was born to Claude and Hermie Mae Hopkins on April 17, 1931 in Ashland, Mississippi.
The only girl of four children, she loved her brothers: Jewel Hopkins, Duwayne Hopkins and Dennis Hopkins.
She married the late Eli Carrisoza on December 22, 1967 and after traveling all over the United States Marine Corps, they settled into life in Millington, Tennessee.
Lou was an active member of the Gateway Baptist Church and The American Indian Association.
Lou survived the passing of two sons: Alan E. Carter and Brett Carter.
She is survived by 1 son, Cary A. Carrisoza (Melissa); and 5 granchildren, Camden Carrisoza, Kelsea Radar, Sara Carrisoza, Susan Carter (Tony) and Alex Carter (Carley); 3 great grandchildren, Johnathon Bates, Ace Carter and Ellah Tresch.
She is also survived by nieces, Angie, Delane, Gina, Jan and Nita; and nephews, Denny and Randy.
Lout was a mother, grandmother, caregiver and friend to many. She loved gospel music and working in the garden.
She was loved by many and will be missed by many.
