Lotis Herman Loft passed from this life into God's hands peacefully in his sleep on the morning of May 2, 2021 at the age of 82.

He was a faithful member of the church from a young age and dedicated his life to God and his family. He taught his family and friends what it meant to be a Christian by the life that he led - by example, attitude, words and actions.

He was born on January 11, 1939 to Herman and Elease Loft in Memphis, TN. He was a member of Munford Church of Christ and former member of East Frayser Church of Christ, and North Seventh Street (Seventh and Bethel) Christ of Christ.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth Ann Loft and would have celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary next month (June 24, 1960); his daughter,  Ann Yarbro (Ron) and son, Stephen Loft (Brenda); five grandchildren, Erin Yarbro (Mangus), Korey Loft (Jake), Savannah Wells (Dustin), Liam Loft, and  Eric Cousar; eight great- grandchildren, Ethan Yarbro, Rebekah Scherffius, Isabella Yarbro, Deacon Christian, Logan Christian, Malia Greelees, Eaden Wells and Odin Wells.

We celebrate his life and the blessings of being able to be a part of it. We mourn the loss of such a sweet, precious loved one but know that he is in a better place now. The greatest hope and goal is to follow his example and to see him again some day in Heaven.

We love you Pop and miss you so much but know that you are in your happy place now.
