Lorine Richard was born December 10, 1933 to the late Joe Robert Wilson, Sr. and Lucy Laura Wilson in Memphis, Tennessee. She professed a hope in Jesus Christ at an early age. She married Frank Patrick in 1950, and in that union, one child was born. She later married Odester Richard and of that union she had eleven children.

Lorine was preceded in death by her parents, Joe & Lucy Wilson; her spouse, Odester Richard; her daughters, Betty Sue Smith (Rozelle); Tony Bernard Richard; and her siblings, JoAnn Laisual (Ellis-deceased), Mosetta Dnnis (Albert), and Joe Robert, Jr. (Renita).

Lorine leaves to cherish her memories, her children, Lou Patrick, Odessa "Sherry" Campbell (Larry), Barbara Rainey (Johnnie), Sheila Jones (Robert "Bob"), Annie James (Marion "Moe"), Mary Harris (Willie "Bull"-deceased), Kenneth Richard, Cassandra Richard, Linda Foster (Darman-deceased), and Donna "Lisa" Richard; her siblings, Betty Wiggins (Charles-deceased), Henry Wilson (Sarah), Gloria Maxey (Harvey), Walter Wilson (Mia-deceased), and George Wilson (MaryAnn); eighteen grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren; some great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
