Lora Edwina Taylor, 78, died unexpectedly from heart failure Friday, December 18, 2020, at St. Francis Hospital in Bartlett, TN. She was born November 13, 1942 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to James Edward ("Ed") Menser and Pauline "Blain" Menser. Edwina attended Shawnee High School. She married Bobby Taylor on May 20, 1958, and they were happily married for over 62 years. They had two daughters,Paula and Robbie, and two sons, James and Kenneth. As a Navy wife, she traveled the country for 20 years before the family settled down in Millington, TN in 1975. Edwina was a loving babysitter for many surrogate grandchildren whom she loved as her own. She was a member of First Baptist Church Millington. She was lovingly referred to as "Nuts", a nickname given to her as a child by her father.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister and brother- in-law, Patricia and Roger Giddens, her niece, Kathy Durham, her daughter-in-law, Carol Taylor, and her great-grandson, Logan Taylor. She is survived by her husband, Bobby Taylor, of Millington; by her daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Jimmy Dean; her daughter and son-in-law, Robbie and Bryan Collver; her son and daughter-in-law, James and Danita Taylor; her son, Kenneth Taylor; her sister and brother-in-law, Cleone and Jim Sigman, of Tecumseh, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren, nine great- grandchildren, and an abundance of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation with family and a service of remembrance will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, December 28 at First Baptist Church, 5010 West Union Road, Millington, TN. Graveside services and burial to follow at Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery, 6755 Highway 51 North, Millington, TN.
