Lloyd S. Taylor, 89,died Thursday January 6, 2011 at home in Munford, TN. Lloyd was a veteran of the United States Army who served proudly in WWII. He is survived by his son: Don Taylor: daughters: Jeanette Fitzgerald, Teresa Sage, Jane Vaughn and Wanda Crowe; brothers Joseph and Ira Taylor; 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife: Avanell Taylor, parents; Joe and Victoria Taylor and brothers; Jimmy, Johnny and Robert Taylor. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 9, 2011 from 4:30-8:00 p.m. at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home in Millington, TN. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 10, 2011 in the Northridge Woodhaven Chapel with interment with full military honors at Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Faith Baptist Church Family Life Center, 900 Simmons Rd.,Drummonds, TN 38004. Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
