Linda Perkins Roachell of Millington (and Raleigh and Frayser) passed away on Friday, May 2, 2025, at age 78. Daughters Michelle Malito Motes of Olive Branch (Joey) and Susan Malito Capodiferro of Bartlett (Tony) were at Linda's side when she escaped the grips of dementia to rejoin the love of her life, Jon Allen Roachell – he died exactly six years earlier on May 2, 2019.

Linda also leaves behind stepsons Brian Roachell of Bartlett and Bradley Roachell of Tucson, AZ (Deana); sisters Judy Perkins McMillin of Bartlett (Chester) and Peggy Perkins Bass of Keller, TX (Tom); grandchildren Analyse Capodiferro and Gianna Capodiferro; Megaen Malito , Bella LaVeck and Savanna Motes; Jian Roachell, Brandan Roachell and Sulan Roachell; Jonny Roachell, Jordyn Roachell and Wyatt Roachell; as well as many great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews she also nurtured with a constant supply of love, encouragement and good humor.

Predeceased by parents Marvin and Thelma Perkins, Linda grew up with Judy and Peggy in the Rugby Hills neighborhood of Frayser. Her beauty and vivacious personality made her a popular classmate at Frayser High (Class of '64). While later raising a family, Linda built a respected and successful career helping grow the aviation insurance sector in Memphis (including at Farris Evans, EBCO Aviation and FedEx). She retired in 2002 to devote herself to family, especially the grandchildren she loved to spoil with trips and sweets and mischievous sense of humor.

In lieu of flowers, consider donations to Alzheimer's Association www.ALZ.org (or other dementia-related causes) in her memory. Services for family are Wednesday morning at Northridge Woodhaven.
