Linda Jean Davenport, 75 of Millington, TN, a Homemaker, passed away Friday, February 3, 2023 at Methodist North Hospital after a long history of medical problems.

She was born to Minnie Lois and James Butram in Hickman, KY on June 21, 1947. On February 15, 1980 she was married to Larry Davenport at the Millington Naval Base Chapel.

Linda was predeceased by her son, Jerry Wayne Triplett, a daughter Regina Lynn Tate and her step-children Lorena, Kelly and Wayne Davenport. She was also predeceased by several of Larry's grandchildren and great grandchildren who passed away from Huntington's Disease, too many to conveniently mention.

She is survived by her husband Larry, a retired Chief Petty Officer, a Vietnam War Veteran, former instructor of Advanced Electronics at the Millington Naval Base, retired Maintenance Technician from the US

Postal Service and an award winning songwriter and publisher of several music genres. Her daughter, Sandra (Joe) Boyd of Memphis, TN and her son Lee (Regina) Triplett Jr. of Crestview, FL. Her brother, Harrold Hicks and sisters, Faye Hudson, Carol Warfield and Jo Anne Mayo.

Surviving her are her grandchildren, Madison Dobbs, Kristie Lynn Lowe, Matthew Don Patrick Lowe, Danielle Taylor Specht, Alexandra Tankersley, Amber Louise Thomas, Brandi Jean Triplett, Heather Shye Triplett, Joseph Sledge Triplett, Brittanie Michelle Vaughn, Heather Boyd, Deanna Boyd, Amber Dawn Carlsen, Michael Wayne Davenport, Leann Gatewood, Christina Walker Jones, Dennis Keller, Arita Ariella Key, Michael John Wyatt, 60 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
