Lillie Margaret Geer Thomas, 91 of Memphis, passed away February 26, 2023.

She was known affectionately to everyone as Aunt Peggy. Lillie found her calling in life as a caregiver to family in need, as well as her career as a Certified Nursing Assistant taking care of many patients in nursing facilities. It is through her caring and strong nature that she was the beloved matriarch to her family. She was a member of Forestview Church of Christ in Memphis.

Ms. Lillie is survived by her daughter, Mary Rose Smith; sons, James Ray Geer (Sandy) and Larry B. Thomas; seven grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Henry and Mary Grace Henson; sister, Mary Lou Worley; and brothers, Donald H. Henson, Tommy Joe Henson, Robert W. Henson, and Johnny F. Henson.
