Lawrence "Larry" Bourne (DeSoto County)LAWRENCE "Larry" BOURNE, 53, died Friday, May 8, 2009. He was a draftsman, a cartoon artist and an avid sports fan. Larry was a member of Frayser Baptist Church. He is survived by his father, John R. Bourne of Memphis, TN; three sisters, Paula B. McGriff of Collierville, TN, Mary Gilliam of Destin, FL and Susan Bourne Spence of Lake Cormorant, MS; two brothers, Bobby Bourne of Garner, NC and Sid Bourne of Houston, TX. He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Mary Florence Bourne and his brother, John C. Bourne. Memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children''s Research Hospital. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Monday, May 11. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 12 at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home, with burial in Northridge Wood-haven Cemetery.
