Lavesta Ella Henderson, 89, died Thursday, January 8, 2015 at Baptist Memorial Hospital -Tipton. Mrs. Henderson was a homemaker who enjoyed raising her family and keeping house. She was the wife of a Retired Navy Man and they travelled the world together over 68 years. Her survivors include sons, Thomas (Janice Fay) Henderson of Millington; and Bob (Susan B.) Henderson of Tampa, FL; grandsons, Jasson (Natalie) Henderson of Fayetteville, AR; Chris Henderson of Manhattan, NY; John (April) Henderson of Millington; Roger (Dana) Henderson of Millington; Joe (Rachael) Henderson of Munford; three great grandchildren, Ella Henderson; Isabel Henderson; and Oliver Henderson; and two sisters, Patricia Bennett; and Harriet Ashley both of Jacksonville, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Thomas M. Henderson. The family will receive friends at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home on Friday, January 9, 2015, from 5-7. Funeral Services will be at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 1:00. Interment will be at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery.
