Katherine Powell, 71, of Memphis passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at St Francis Hospital Memphis. Mrs. Powell was a Nursing Assistant. She is survived by her children, Lisa Powell of Memphis; Eric Powell (Meghan) of Lawton, OK; Willie Powell Jr. of Millington; Rodney Smith of Memphis; Jabbar Smith of Millington; and Bobby Smith of Nashville; nine grandchildren, Natron Williamson, Natika Powell, Nakell Powell, Keyon Powell; Tiana Smith; Eragena Powell; Aniya Powell; Zoe Smith; and Brendan Abraham; and her five great grandchildren, Taylour Powell, Journee Powell, Kenndi Williamson,; Keyonna Hoof, Nakell Powell Jr.. The family will receive friends at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home on Friday, June 28 from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home. Interment will be at Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery.
