Junie Annette Davis Gonterman, 79, passed away peacefully on December 1, 2022. She graduated from Frayser High School and retired from W. M. Barr and Harrah's Casino. Every time she was asked what her name was, she would say – Junie J-U-N-I-E making us all laugh. She is survived by her son, Chris Gonterman, daughter, Cindy (Keith) Avery, grandsons, Ryne (Shelby) Hodges, Calvin (Kayla) Hodges, Brandon Avery, Chase Avery, great grandsons, Darren Garrity and Logan Avery, brother Terry (Ginny) Davis, grand-dog that was her "baby", Rascal. Preceded in death by her husband, Harry Gonterman, daughter, Cheryl Gonterman, grandson, Dustin Gonterman, parents, Norman and Arlene Davis, brother, Dennis Davis, daughter-in-law, Tina Gonterman, her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Calvin and Agnes Gonterman. Services will be Thursday, December 8, 2022, at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home, Millington, TN. Visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m. – 2 p.m. with services following at 2 p.m. In memory of mom help those less fortunate and always be kind.
