Obituary

Julie Ann Malady, 84, died peacefully in her Olive Branch, MS home on July 31, 2022, due to Alzheimer's disease.  Julie was one of nine children, eight girls and one boy, born to Willie Elmer Heard and Ola Asilee Spencer Heard in Humphreys County Tennessee, on April 2, 1938.

Julie was married to Bob Malady for 65 years and they lived together in Olive Branch, MS.

Julie was retired from the Shelby County Sheriff's Department where she worked in the civil division, but she started her career in service as a school crossing guard in 1970.

She is survived by her husband, Bob Malady and her two sons: Billy Malady, Texas, and Jon Malady, Olive Branch, Ms.  She also leaves three sisters: her twin sister Ruby Ann Worrell, Josephine Smith, and Nannie Mae Eddleman. In addition, she leaves her four Grand Children: Jonas Malady, Jonathan Malady, Abbie Malady and Jessica Malady,  her Great Granddaughter, Madeline Malady and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services to be held at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home in Millington, TN on Monday, August 8, 2022 at 10:00 a.m; visitation 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.
