Juanita Frances Carson Lofton, 89, passed away on September 28, 2022. She was the widow of Avle E. Lofton.

Ms. Lofton is survived by her daughter, Carol Johnson; three grandchildren, Richard N. Johnson, II, Sharon Rivers, and Michael E. Johnson; three great-grandchildren, Eric Johnson, Alex Johnson, and Lindsay Rivers; five great-great- grandchildren; also, two brothers, Jack D. Carson and Joe K. Carson of Millington, TN.

Juanita was born in Memphis, TN and resided in the Shelby Forest area and Bartlett, TN her entire life. She retired from South Central Bell Telephone Company where she worked as a long-distance operator for over 25 years. She was an active member of Fountain of Truth Church for 37 years.
