Joseph Floyd Taylor, 99, passed away October 14, 2025.  He was a Navy WWII veteran and a co-founder of the Lucy Opry.  He retired from International Harvester after 31 years.  He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, his wife Ramel Taylor, and a grandson Nicholas Daugherty.  He is survived by two daughters, Shelia (Chris) Daugherty and Melanie (Paul) Culley, his brother Ira Taylor. He leaves five grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson and a host of nieces and nephews.  Services will be held Tuesday, October 21st at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home.  Visitation is at 1:00 with the service to follow at 2:00.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to West Frayser Baptist Church - 835 Whitney Avenue - Memphis, TN 38127
