Obituary

Jesus replied, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself". These are the words that Joney Caudill lived by as she served her Father and Savior. But on Monday, May 15, 2023, she left for her heavenly home at the age of 76.

She was born on November 25, 1946 in Washington D.C. to her parents the late Barbara Johnson and Robert Wilmoth. She grew up, graduated, and married in Jacksonville, Florida. She also lived in Rhode Island, Louisiana, Indiana, Virginia, and Tennessee. She made life long friends in each of these states as she loved her husband and raised her children. In addition, she mentored and discipled woman from all around the world, and she will be missed by all.

She will rest at peace with those that have preceded her in death: her loving husband, Calvin Jordan Caudill, Jr.; her parents Robert Wilmoth, and Barbara and Robert Plummer; and her brother, Robert D. Plummer.

She is survived by her son, Michael Caudill (Danna); her daughter, Sheri Beaver (Tom); grandchildren, Elizabeth Chastain (Evan), Lauren Caudill (Nick Buckley), Drew Hobson, Cassie Beaver, Tyler Hobson (Kayla), Jake Wright-Caudill, Emily Wilson (Blake), Luke Hobson (Georgee Moore), Carson Caudill, and Micah Caudill; and great grandchildren, Gabby, Nicholas, Amelia, Gemma, Olivia, Scarlett, Charlotte, Arya, and Poppy.
