Joleen Nehls, 72, died Saturday, April 27, 2013 at her Millington residence. She was a devoted homemaker, mother, and grandmother. She also loved her role as Girl Scout Leader, Band Booster and babysitter for friends and neighbors. Joleen is survived by her husband of 52 years, William Nehls; daughter, Teresa Sherrill; son-in-law, Michael Sherrill; two grandchildren, Hannah Sherrill, and Taylor Sherrill all of Millington; and her sister Mirianelle Densmore of Decatur, Alabama. The family will receive friends at the Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home on Monday, April 29, 2013 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery. The family requests that memorials be directed to St. Jude Children''s Research Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, Tennessee 38104.
