John A. Parsons, Jr.-age 80 of Memphis, TN passed away on May 2, 2018.  He was a retired master carpenter and avid golfer.  He enjoyed playing guitar, and sang country music.  His family will always remember him as a gracious husband, father, grandfather and friend.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Mary Marie Parsons and John A. Parsons, Sr. and brothers, James Parsons, Alfred Parsons and Charlie Parsons.  He is survived by his wife, Jeanette Parsons; children, Alison Luttrell, Sandy (Bubba) Dodson, Mike (Pat) Parsons, Debi (Dan) Crowder and Dena (Doug) Pannell; grandchildren, Michael Parsons, Brandon Smith, Jenny Dodson, Dustin Smith, Amber Neal, Robert Dodson, Ashley Pannell, Chase Millner and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Friday, May 4, 2018 from 6p.m. – 8p.m.  The funeral service will take place on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 11a.m.  Interment will take place on Monday, May 7, 2018 at 1p.m.  Visitation, service and interment will all take place at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home and Cemetery 6755 Hwy. 51 N.
