John Edward McTyre, 61, passed away on May 10, 2022. John was a member of Collierville United Methodist Church. He was a veteran in Radio for over 16 years, which included broadcasting in a variety of music: country music, being his favorite. Later in life he was pursuing a career with his Bachelor Degree in Web design.

Besides his partner, Carolyn and his family, John loved his two dogs, listening to country music, and watching his favorite Super hero movies.

John was preceded in death by his father, Samuel Edward McTyre; his son, Brandon Wayne McTyre, and brother, David Barrett McTyre.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his life partner for over 20 years, Carolyn Williams; his son, Sean Eric Eckrote and daughter in-law, Jordan M. Eckrote of Yukon, OK; his mother, Kimble Jeanette McTyre of Memphis, TN; three brothers, James Benedict McTyre of San Antonio, TX, Walter Garrett McTyre of Lakeland, TN and Samuel Jackson McTyre of Memphis, TN; his grandchildren: Easton Hoyt and Braylee Jayden Eckrote of Yolon, OK.
