John Edward Carson, 75, passed away February 23, 2017. Visitation will be held Sunday, February 26th from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Shelby Forest Baptist Church. Funeral Service will also be at Shelby Forest Baptist Church on Monday, February 27th at 2:00 pm. Interment will be in Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery.
He was born to James Frank and Jesse Alma Colum, and a lifelong member of Shelby Forest Baptist Church. Retired as a GSE Mechanic from Fed-ex, and was and Owner Operator of Johnny''s Garage in Shelby Forest.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years Mrs. Charlotte Ward Carson, his children; Janet Nance (Rick), Cathy Stallard (Rob), and Dennis Carson (Angie), his grandchildren; Crystal Guerra (Alex), Casey Liester (Joe), Cara Nance Love (Chris), Sarah Nance, Andy Stallard, Houston Carson, Ruby Stallard, and Hunter Carson, great grandchildren; Aliyah Stallard, and Micah Love, and his siblings; Louise Williams, Juanita Lofton, Jack Carson, Joe Carson (Annette).
