Our dear mother and beloved "Granaw" died Saturday, September 24, 2022.

Jo Mavis Moffitt Belcher was born in Walnut, MS to Robert and Jeanette Moffitt on December 20, 1928.

She was preceded in death by her baby brother, Robert Jr. and sisters, Ruth Fischer and LaNelle Moffitt.

Jo was married to Amon Belcher for 54 years until his death in 2000.

She leaves her children, Judi of Decatur, GA; David (Debbra) of Arlington, TN; another son, Robert (Gwen) of Millington who died in 2019.

"Granaw" loved her seven grandchildren, Donna Edwards (Steve) of Collierville, TN; Jennifer Horvatinovich of Louisville, KY; Jason Belcher of Cordova, TN, and Jessica Belcher of Lexington, NC; Amy Akil (Firass); Kellye Chrestman of Arlington, TN, and Lendi Trautman (Caleb) of Germantown, TN.

Jo leaves 18 great grandchildren and four great great-grandchildren and a fifth due in January.

Our family thanks caregivers, Cindy Beard, Dorothy Truesdale, Laurion Fugh, Leigh Shelton, Phoebe Crout, and Gail Carr.

Services will be held at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home in Millington, TN. Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 PM with service immediately following. Burial will be in Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery.
