Jimmie M. Traylor 83, passed away at his home on Monday September 14,2026. Jim was born in Friendship, TN to James and Elizie Traylor.

Jim started his career as an auto part specialist at Atkins Auto in Newbern, TN. After moving to Memphis, he was a long-time employee of Madison Cadilac then retiring from Gossett Motor cars in 2014.

In his earlier years he enjoyed swimming and fishing. He also enjoyed camping and taking trips to visit friends and family. Later in life he enjoyed cooking meals and posting photos of his home cooked meals on social media.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents James and Elzie Traylor, his beloved wife Martha Traylor, and his sister Sandy Jones of Tiptonville, TN.

He is survived by his 3 children; Terry Traylor (Leigh), Cheri Campbell, and Michelle Jordan.

Jim is also survived by 3 grandchildren; Bret, Savannah, and Lindsey and 4 great-grandchildren.
