Jennie Pearl Childress Rice was born June 25, 1920 and went to be with the Lord, June 24, 2013. Jennie retired from the U.S. Postal Service Millington following 37 years of service. She was a devoted member of First Baptist Church of Atoka, Tennessee. She is survived by her daughters and their spouses, Mrs. Mary Ann Rice Brigance and husband Ray Brigance of Crossville, and Mrs. Shirley Jean Rice Davis and husband Jim Davis of Atoka, four grandchildren, Jim Brigance, Don Brigance, Kimberly Ann Eppley Rose and Karen Lynn Eppley; and one great grandson, Ryan Lee Brigance. The family will receive friends at First Baptist Church of Atoka on Thursday, June 27, 2013 from 11:00 - 1:00 p.m. Funeral Services will begin at the church at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be at Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery. The family requests that memorials be sent to First Baptist Church of Atoka, Missions.
