Jeannette Elizabeth Dixon, age 83, passed away unexpectedly on November 20, 2025, in her home in Millington, TN. She was born on February 10, 1942, in St. Paul, MN, the daughter of Robert Glenn, Sr. and Merlyn Elizabeth. (Mulder) Pratt. At an early age, she moved with her family to Crossett, AR, where she later met the love of her life, Kenneth Harvey Dixon, AVCM (ret.), whom she married and shared 59 wonderful years. Before her marriage, Jeannette was an active member of the Civil Air Patrol, an experience she cherished throughout her life. As she later supported her husband's Navy career, she held several occupations, including working as a bank teller and assisting with the American Red Cross. She eventually found her calling in Civil Service, where she dedicated herself to the Bureau of Naval Personnel. No matter where life took her, she approached every role with grace, dedication, and a warm spirit. Jeannette was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her strong relationship with God guided her throughout her life. She had a passion for Country Western dancing and a profound love for animals, both of which brought her great joy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth H. Dixon, AVCM (ret.), and her brother, Robert G. Pratt Jr. She is survived by her children, Donna G. Carter and Christopher A. Dixon; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. A service to honor her life will be held on December 1, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery and Funeral Home, 6755 US-51, Millington, TN 38053, with interment to follow.
