Jean E. Bendorf, 80, of Millington, Tennessee got her wings and passed away on Sunday, January 9 ^th 2022 at the Millington Healthcare Center in Millington. Her body will be cremated and a celebration of life will be planned for a later time.

Jean was born May 9 ^th 1941 in Burlington, Iowa to the late Fredrick Roxlau and the late Rosalie Cogan Roxlau. She is survived by her daughters, Debbie Akers of Millington, Linda Reilly of Memphis and a son, Jeff (Darryn) Bendorf of Drummonds, TN:  three grandchildren Bryan Akers, April Akers, and Jacob Bendorf, all of Memphis: nine great-grandchildren, Michael, Bean, Kaden and Willie Akers, Landon Theobald, Bailee Alexander, Aydan Bialek, Grayson Bendorf, and Zane Bendorf, and one sister Barbie Rholena of Anamosa, Iowa, and a host of  nieces and nephews.

Beside her parents, Jean was also preceded in death by her brother, Donny Roxlau, and 3 sister, Shirley Clark, Phyllis "Buddy" Franklin, and Marnie Ebbesmier.

Ms. Bendorf was a bookkeeper for several years at several different businesses.  After retiring she enjoyed reading, watching tv, napping and being with her family and kitty cats.
