J. E. TILLERY, 81, passed away Saturday, February 21, 2009 at Methodist North Hospital. Born May 31, 1927, he served in the Armed Forces for 24 years. He was a lifetime member of the VFW Post 7175. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Anneliese Tillery; three daughters, Korniela and her husband, Eugene McGoldrick of Virginia, Rebecca Ryer of Lapeer, MI and Sara Tillery of Millington, TN; two sons, Jimmy Tillery of Tucson, AZ and John Tillery of Germantown, TN; one sister, Ernestine Jackson of Brantley, AL; seven grandchildren, Jennie Dean, Janis McGoldrick, Danyele Watson, T.J. Heller, Jennifer Tenhoeve, Jason Heller and Chandler Tillery; eight great-grandchildren, Jessica, Nathan, Emma, Jacob, Tayah, Trey, Alexander and Brien. Visitation will be held 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, February 24 and funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 25 at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home, with burial in Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery, Millington, TN.
