Janice Jean Medina

Janice LaCombe, 78, of Millington, TN passed away on September 3, 2014. She was born in Pueblo, Colorado on September 8, 1935 to Nicholas A. Medina and Delores E. Hoagland Medina. She is preceded in death by her late husband William L. LaCombe, whom she married on November 12, 1956 in Taos, NM. She leaves a sister, Ardith Cortez and a brother, Bill (Marguerite) Hoagland. She leaves two sons, Terry (Mary) and Mike, and two daughters, Barbara (Ricky) Parham and Patty (Kenneth) Gavrock. She also leaves four grandchildren, David Gavrock, Alicia (Casey) Miller, Sarah Dee (Brian) Hall and Nicholas LaCombe, and one great-granddaughter, Alyssa Hall.

Janice was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, friend, and woman who never forgot a birthday or holiday card. She was a devout Catholic who was active in St. William''s parish in Millington of which she religiously attended for over 40 years. She loved animals and every stray dog and cat was welcomed. She belonged to the Millington TOPs chapter for many years holding different leadership positions. She also participated in the Millington Al Anon chapter and the Millington Senior Citizen''s group.

Visitaion will be Sunday, September 7, 2014, 6-8pm at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home, Millington. Mass will be held at St. William''s Catholic Church in Millington, on Monday, September 8, 2014 at 9:00 am and burial will follow at Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery, Millington.
