Janice Fay Henderson, known to many as "Saint Fay" for her gentle heart and tireless grace was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who filled our world with music and light.

Born July 9, 1946, in Paris, Tennessee, to her parents, John Milton McKenzie and Mildred Doty. She passed away in a hospital on May 14, 2026, surrounded by her husband, three sons, two daughters in law and two grandchildren.

Her parents moved to Memphis, Tennessee in 1963, where she met her future husband, Thomas Henderson, in Treadwell High School. They married in 1967 and together worked while Thomas finished college and law school. She had their first son, John in 1972, their second son, Roger in 1974, and their third son, Joseph in 1978. Janice, who everyone called Fay, raised the three sons in the Millington area. A musician in high school, she encouraged her sons to take up music through their schooling. While she will be sorely missed, her life was a blessing to all who her.
