Janet Lee Allen, 88 of Memphis, passed away February 2, 2023.

She is survived by her husband of 67 and a half years, George Allen; daughters, Vicky Kapcio and Cindy Littlejohn; son, Terry Allen (Cathy); sister, Mary Lou Baerlin (Martin); brother, Dennis Wright (Denise); grandchildren, Nathan Littlejohn and Leigh Kapcio; and great grandchildren, Darion Littlejohn and Destiny Littlejohn.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Clara Wright.

Janet was an active member and held many titles in the Lutheran Women's Missionary League for over 75 years. She worked for the Board of Education in Detroit, MI and continued childhood education as a day care teacher for the Luther Churches she attended. She was the Church Secretary for the former Good Shepard Lutheran Church in Memphis.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Lutheran Women's Missionary League Endowment Fund - MidSouth District.
