James Boas Wyse Jr., 85, of Memphis died at Baptist Memorial Hospital - Memphis on Sunday, October 21, 2012. Mr. Wyse was a WWII Navy Veteran who loved hunting, fishing, and his family. He retired as a Service Manager for Sears & Roebuck. He graduated in the First Reserve Academy and served as a Reserve Officer for the Memphis Police Department. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Geneva Wyse; his son, Tim Wyse; and a daughter, Dale Wyse Morris. Mr. Wyse is survived by his wife, Betty S. Wyse; daughter, Gail Wood (Mark) of Russellville, AR; five grandchildren, Robin Morris Fryrear (Ray) of Columbia, SC; Don Morris (Stephanie) of Millington; Rusty Wood, Bo Wood and Josh Wood all of Russellville, AR; and 3 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 23 from 5:30 - 8:30. Funeral services will be at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home Wednesday, October 24 at 9:00 a.m. Interment will be at Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery.
