James Michael Williams, age 68 of Bartlett, passed away October 20, 2023 surrounded by those he loved. Mike was a graduate of Trezevant High School and joined the United States Army in 1976. He served as Staff Sergeant with the Military Police until 1989, when he was honorably discharged. He then worked with Veterans Affairs and later joined the United States Postal Service.

Over the past several years, Mike enjoyed spending time with his family and going on adventures. His life was rich in love and Dr. Pepper, his most favorite beverage. He greatly enjoyed being a "big kid" with his grandsons, whom he adored. He loved his family, his country, and his Almighty Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. Mike is preceded in death by his wife Sue Williams, his parents James and Thelma Williams, his sister Karen Williams, and his brother Allen Williams. He is survived by his children, Jimmy Williams (Kelly), Katie Smyth (Aaron), Chris Williams (Cindy), stepson Chris Hinckley, several grandsons, and his sister Donna Bolton (Johnny).

Services for Mike will be held at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home at 6755 HWY 51 N. Millington, TN 38053 on Saturday, October 28, 2023. Visitation will be from 9 -  10 AM with funeral services following.
